Beautiful shot Jen.
this scene looks suspiciously like the area around table mountain :)
I disagree slightly with cropping out the sky, it gives sort of an "infinite" feeling to the picture and that's exactly how you feel when you're up in the mountains in cape town.
It captures the mood marvelously

Nice shot with layers of meaning and reference. I agree that it's a good idea to include the bit of city visible in the upper left. However, I also agree that you might be better off without the blown out sky. Try cropping just the top; never mind the odd aspect ratio that may result.

True dear Stan, I could have cropped it more, the light was bad indeed, I still have to get used on cropping more and more:) I really wouldnt know what snakes, but there are cobra's for sure, met one once there, just like a boomslang, buth then there were not many trees here:)

I think you should ask Julie for sunglasses, she is the expert dear:)) I was thinking of cropping more but i like to see the piece of the city behind here, although its a bit to bright.
Charlotte doesnt want to hang on my wall, prefers

Be a lioness for your treasure. And the snakes sign, it is so nice symbolic next to the tree of eden here, every mum knows every boy has one and for those there cannot be warning signs enough. She may be expelled from paradise. Or not. Maybe she gets in heaven.

Beautiful portrait of your beautiful daughter Jen dear. The exposure you have on her face is perfect. I like the backlighting and seeing the town there. Cool glasses :))Have to get some of them lol.
