Thanks so much Ania, your words make me happy.. So glad you like the beauty that surrounds me. This was with a prime lens I gave myself for my birthday. I really love the clarity.
Be well my friend, Stan

Thanks Mitra, the shot is still not the same as watching it happen. This was a clear and wonderfully graduated in colors. The slow deepening of the colors was so nice. Thanks for the positive words!

Thanks for the words of kindness rino! So glad you liked this. Not a cloud in the sky that day. Blue as far as I could see.

Hi Wolf, I would prefer to keep my exploitations down to a dull roar. Actually the lady in black woke me up early!! Thanks for the comment, glad you like this one. I did sleep well and am up for more.
Be well, Stan

Thanks Riny, I appreciate the positive comment. Yes my little rebel is finding a place in my heart and hands. This was taken with a 28mm prime I recently acquired. Playing with light, the best game in town.
Be well my friend, Stan

Hi Sunset Man, I do not even look at the numbers. I try to respond to the comments as I feel. I try to comment on the thumbnails I like when I get a chance to sit down and go through the recent images. Like a roulette wheel for whose comes up. If you see and like what I am doing then that is good for both of us. I like much of what I have seen of yours as well. I wish I had your PS knowledge and a large format camera for landscapes here in Montana. When I lived in Hawaii is was at the beach every morning and evening for sunrise and sunset. This image reminded me of those days as the fireball woke from it's sleep and brought me another day of life on this planet.I am adding you as a friend to keep a closer eye on you and comment on more of your work. I only learned about thirds from a comment a graphic artist I worked for looked at a skyscape of mine and commented on the concept a couple of months ago when he looked at a few of my shots. Let's keep learning together my friend.
Be well, Stan

Come on Stan ...

Don't you know by now because by the number of views, comments, and ratings alone and/or in combination that you are receiving comparatively to me that you are the 'Teacher' and I am the 'Student' ... ?

Hi Sunset Man, I looked at the full image and cropped to the look I thought I wanted. I think it was more eye than knowledge. Might have been from watching good guys like you, Stan, Debit, etc. No formal training, just a carpenter gone bad! Thanks for the encouragement. Cropped bottom and top to get less black and less sky. Almost full width.
Be well, Stan

So ... you are utilizing the 'Rule of Thirds' at the horizon instead of the vertical ...

Who taught you that? :))
