Hello AJ! Yup, 2 hours after sunset. Most of it's actually fairly light but I added a dark vignette to burn the edges in a bit more. In hindsight, I think 8 minutes may have been overkill, but I really wanted to push the sensor to test noise. As it turned out, it was pretty bloody good!

Wonderful - I particularly like the light, the smoothness and of course those star trails. 9h55pm - would that be total darkness or still with a hint of daylight in the sky?

Thanks Rog. The only one I managed to take that night because I didn't start shooting early enough. Weather coming in on left would have stuffed the star trails.

WOW!!! Awesome effects from this very long exposure my lovely girl. The tones are so beautiful, with every thing so wonderfully clear. The islands are in perfect focus and the movement in the clouds and the ocean are stunning. Just how many missiles were fired at the islands and did they manage to hit any? Well done to you for this creative composition executed with your usual excellence. A big HUG for you sweet Rina, a huge KISS and always, always my very best wishes as well......RayXX
