I have been absent but just to take shots in another town -lol - can't stop shooting can we - ?
Thank You for your opinion on which version to choose - I wanted to know altho only a few told me - I appreciate it- You know how that goes- it's sometimes hard to get a comment but I am lucky to have great friends such a yourself ...I thought about the BG being a ditraction but the fog above the trees changed my mind altho I do see your point as well -

I did add the closer shot at the top and ask for opinions but maybe it was too close -haha!! Maybe something in between - (?) Regardless I appreciate your thoughts :}

I think you posted the right one my dear Michele for we can see the whole of this delightfully coloured train. The tones are beautiful, so very rich and with such wonderful details. What a lovely well preserved historically flavoured composition. Well done to you my lovely friend.

Hello my dear curious Paul-
Yes sometimes I am not sure of which image of the same object or whatever to post- one I think maybe better than the other - I had planned to post the panorama image first then changed my mind so I ask others opinion -
A logging train carries the logs to mills that make it into wood for construction as Oregon is a major logging state - it is not a museum this I know for sure - it was just this old car that someone painted while it has been sitting on the track for who knows how long - ha- maybe since 1930's !!!!
I think that questions are good because I do have your interest and maybe you can also learn a bit about my country and state I live in - also I think an image is good if it makes you think and to wonder :))

That is part of my thoughts ...
Also part of my thoughts : What is a logging train and how is the painting related to the train ? Is this part of a railway museum and what else can be seen here ?
As you notice most of my thoughts are questions and I get even more as I look longer, maybe this is an illness :-)
Or maybe it is just a good picture if it does not explain all.
