A thoughtfully composed landscape study my dear Brigitte and I love how you have captured the river winding it's way out of the the bottom right corner. I love too the soft delicate toning and the wonderful details that complete this delightful composition. Well done to you my dear friend. A big HUG and my very best wishes as always....Ray

The East Fork of the Carson River, originally the home of the native Lahontan cutthroat and Paiute cutthroat trout, is blessed with a variety of angling options. The 11 mile "wild trout" stretch of the river from Hangman's Bridge to the Nevada border offers catch and release angling for the fly fishing enthusiast, while the heavily stocked section above Hangman's Bridge's provides family-style "catch and keep" fishing for rainbows and an occasional Lahontan cutthroat or brown.
You and your grandson would love it here, Stan. Thank you for your very kind comments and for always taking the time to look at my photos - you are appreciated!

Was this a fly fishing only river? Looks like a great area. What was the main species of fish? Like the colors and the shape of the river in your composition. I can see some places I would fish in. Be well, Stan
