it is absolutely red,this is a wild one ,I have grown those orange poppies in my garden,this one is called as I remember orientals,thanks a lot for the nice input,

Beautiful color, light and shadow, and dof - we have orange poppies here , and it is the state of California's flower - is this really a red poppy or is my monitor's color off ?

Poppy is widely consumed in many parts of Central and Eastern Europe. The sugared, milled mature seeds are eaten with pasta, or they are boiled with milk and used as filling or topping on various kinds of sweet pastry.
