Thanks Tommaso, your comments are always welcomed. This was a hand held pan of the Tobacco Roots. Was hiking and did not want to pack a tripod. Glad you got to see my part of the country.

Hi Harry, thanks for the info. After I saved this file I could only get it down to 585kb. I guess UF resized it down from there. That was the lowest quality I could go. I am always playing and perfect is not any fun any way. I do want to improve and keep learning. That is my driving force. My rule is, if I like it I post it. Some is marginal, but has something in the image I find unique.
Be well today, Stan

Thanks so much Mojgan, glad you caught my view scape. These were covered with snow after our first two storms. They will be joined by everything being white soon. Suppose to be cold and snowing by the first of next week. I am getting ready for the winter. Do you live in London? What is it like there? Have a great weekend!!

Good you posted it. I think pano size is Stan-dard size, max 450 kb. Motto: just play and learn, dont try to do perfect things ;-)

Thanks RG, got to keep it interesting! This is my skyscrapers. I hiked Sunday and took this on a ridge above my property. It was a Blue Bird day and so clear. These are over 10 miles away. The lens is not great glass but still quite acceptable for what it is. L glass is out for now but my older EF glass is great for what I got it for. Thanks for being amazed and for enjoying my view.

Thanks so much Ali, glad you liked the view!! These are fun to try and put together. the program does the hard work. Must have same exposure and fstop to make it work. I panned by hand to get this in six shots.
Be well my friend, Stan

Thanks Jen, If you push the here for pano view it will get way big. Glad you like my mountains, yes this was from the Meter+ of snow they got about 3 weeks ago. They are over 14km away from where this was shot from. I am blessed to have this for a view and am thankful every day for it. I had a great day and plan to get my last round of golf in with some friends tomorrow. We had a nice week of sun and moderate temps.
Hugs and be well, Stan

Hi Dave, I looked at it in Pano mode after I loaded it and I needed a wide screen monitor. I have a 19" IBM crt I got for $5 at a thrift store. How big is yours. I just do not know the best size to do yet since there is no UF info for the pano images. I did not realize it would end up big. Oh well,I will get it figured out in time.

Hi Brigitte, glad you like this. For UF I shot in Jpeg high and do not change any camera settings. I shoot neutral for contrast, saturation, etc. When I want to change saturation I go to PS>Image>hue/saturation> master and click on that and then go through all of the colors starting with Magenta, then Blue, cyan etc. I toggle each up until they are obviously that color and then back out until the colors calm down. This way you can also selectively desat the colors as well. Hope that made sense. If not I can take a screen shot and send it to you. I stiched this with Image Browser that came with my Rebel software. It does a great job. I worked on the sticthes a little with the clone tool. If I am out shooting for things I want to really tweak I shoot in raw, and if I want too get a better print then I have more to work with. I can do a lot with 8mp. Hope this is helpful. It is all new to me, you saw where I started from old buddie. You were one of my first friends.
Be well, Stan

Harry, your eyes are good. I really had to degrade this to get it to load. The panoramic view is huge but very pixelated. I had to try loading it about 4 times before it would work. I tried 1.3mb but UF said uh uh no. Not sure what the panaromic image size is for this.I could not get this smaller than 585K and that was after I cropped the right side down about one landscape frame. So this is actually 5 1/4 pictures wide.
Thanks for encouraging me to post it.
Be well, Stan

Thanks so much Daniel, your comment is appreciated so much. This shot was over 10 miles away from a ridge above my house. I had to degrade the image down to 585K to get it to load. The full shot in good resolution kicks some butt.

Wow, excellent pano, Stan. I can't tell where it was stitched together. Great scenery and great work!

All the best,
Brigitte

P.S. May I ask what picture style you usually shoot in? I usually shoot in neutral and sometimes will change saturation in my editor afterwards a tiny bit depending on the image. I was just curious how you handle it. Thanks!
