Thanks for the WOW!! That is what I said as the sun was lighting up Lone Peak. It is an incredible mountain as it comes into view on the way to the resort. I hope to keep your eyes full of some of these wonderful places. Some shots will be when I am up on them with my skis. Thanks for accepting the friendship offer. Your really nice for a city slicker!! Us "Rebels" need to stick together. I have been in Montana for over 30 years and never tire of the beauty around me.
Be well my friend, Stan

Thanks Jacques, it is the best to come off the top of it on a clear and deep powder day. The view is incredible at over 10,000 feet high. I can see for literally miles on a clear day. thanks for the comment. Have a great holiday.

Harry, that is a great story. I too have run into the small potted fawns along the bank of the stream when I fish in the spring. They are so small and so beautiful in their color and their big eyes. That Panasonic is a nice camera!!

Dear Saad, I will write your name and even take a picture when I go to the summit. The ski from the top is wonderful. You can see for miles on a clear day. I have skied from the top when the snow was over a meter deep. That is the best!!! So glad you saw this capture.

Thanks Dave, this is where I go for mental health days. I have skied here since 1989, usually only a few times a year. I also ski at Bridger Bowl which is closer and a lot less money. A friend usually comps me a pass or two every year. The daily rate at Big Sky is about $85 for skiing. Glad you liked the sky colors against the peak. It was a sticking shot.

Thanks Mitra, the light was so nice I made my friend pull over so I could get this angle of the peak. The sun was just on it as it was rising that morning. Ski season is officially open and all the local areas are open. It will be a white Christmas!

A leica lens on my panasonic fz-5 i used in the zoo hahahahah

But I have seen many deer in the wild. A baby that played silent when we were passing at 2 meters distance. And a juvenile deer that was very curious and had not yet learned to be afraid for mankind. I had stopped on my bike to do a p.ee in the bushes and walking back i saw the junior. I stood like frozen en let him come to me, he saw me and was curius. He got as close as 2 meters and then calmly returned to mum.

:) :) :) :) :) :)
