Hey, that's good news to me, Harry! So, it seems that neither none nor all of the objects (trees) in the foreground are to be rejected. Interesting.
And we see that photographically it is OK to crop off the left side. Politically it is a catastrophy, and that's why politics nowadays are doing much worse than photography. But... as long as most people will identify the left wing as "bad communism" without having even the slightest idea about where their insurance and pension comes from, we are not going to move toward better conditions. Not a single centimeter.
Thanks heavens photography is much more open to any ideas, that is. ;-)
Cheers!
Nick

Hmmm... I don't know, Harry. To me the terms "ratio" and "feeling" are in a good agreement most of the time, and this time in particular too. In cases my "feeling" says different, it is only the product of knowing something without being really conscious of that - so it is rather a hint for further search and more exact examination of my own mind.
In this case... would perhaps some kind of crop help, that considers both your ratio and feeling? Perhaps crop only one side? (Attachment.) And if so, then which of the two sides?
Cheers!

Kalimera,
Thanks for the cropped version Nick. I have been in doubt 1000 times, ratio say crop them out, my feeling say leave them in. Your advice ?

Good details and coloring here, Harry. The hues do represent very well a somewhat "deporessed" atmosphere, which on the other hand also introduces something very quiet and noiseless.
The out of focus tree on the right and the half tree in the left seem to be interacting with the otherwise deep perspective. Cropping them off? (Attachment.)
Cheers!
