thank you my friend,and absolutely right,this is a 90 degree perspective,I mean from the 12 o'clock down over the bulbous plant,and as the plant spurts from above,this cavity at the top is dark,

It is a very abosrbing one for the regularity of patterns in such a strong contrast and good contours, especially in the center, Saad! Perhaps the middle of the plant is too dark, but by looking at the very white peaks of the leaves I guess that this was the best possible exposure. The game of tonal range between the extremes is quite a strong thing here. It really fits the already mentioned geometry in a very "pure" way. The plant seems to pop out of the plane of the image.

I have stayed home in the warmth of my home. We are about -30c and I am taking care of my life here at home. I will venture to ski in a few days when it warms up. I will capture some of the beauty as I ski and think of you and your family. Here the snow is so dry that it squeaks when you walk on it. It is to cold to be icy, the snow is like feathers and sparkles in the sunlight. Here is a picture of where I am working at. there is a tractor clearing the road to the house that I am finishing.
