About A garden shed in the English Garden of Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, cleverly disguised as a thatch roofed cottage. The details and thatching were authentically done to match the real English cottages.

Such a nice one for its vivid color combination and tight, tidy composition! With all the vailable details all over the DoF it could be as well selected for somce picture bood of gardens or villages... something like that! Perhaps the lowering of the density of greenery at the top lowers also the look and feel of "saturated" vegetation but I think that this is a very minor problem, if any a t all! Could a bit less exposure add something to the grey color of the walkway?

Cheers!

Nick

Very nice composition, and looks like something in the U.K., the details are so authentic, and beautiful colours, the walkway takes you right to the shed. Great shot.

It does look very English my friend and there are several thatched residences a short walk away from where we live. This is a lovely setting Dave and you have capture the very essence of peace and tranquility. Beautiful tones and superb clarity, well done to you.
A belated Happy New Year my good friend. I am busy catching up in UF after my seasonal break. As always, my very best wishes to you dear Dave......Ray

Hi Dave,
I've seen this kind of thing before. It is clever the way they are about 1/4 size, but from a distance look like the real thing. The bench in front of this one is a give-a-way.

I live near an area where movie companies occasionally do outdoor shoots. It is amazing to see how they can fool you in a movie with scale models of farm houses, barns and stables strategically set up in the distance. The special effects guys set up a 100 square yard area and make it look like a couple of square miles of village and farm land.

Very pleasant image by the way :)
