Hi Dirk - I've been re-visiting some old negatives with a film scanner. This photo is from 1994. This little guy is now in his mid twenties and just signed a recording contract.

I figured as much (being in CA - I'm sitting here surrounded in snow). I just don't associate apples with the beach. Maybe a surfborad to lean on? =) He's a great looking kid - such a wholesome look. I love it. Is he yours?

Amy - A plaid shirt, overalls and a straw hat?? That would be a totally different picture! He wasn't 'fresh off the farm', but rather fresh off the beach.

I like this photo, but I'd like it better if the child had a shirt on - maybe a plaid patterned shirt with overalls and a straw hat. This kid looks fresh off the farm like he'd just picked the apples. I know there isn't a creepy reason you didn't have a shirt on the kid, but it looks odd to me. I love the lighting!
