Use of lines ta bhalo laglo. Akta golden point e lady ache ...arektae tomar meye thakle better lagto aro. Ar ekhane tomar meyeke dekhe mone hochche je o oi lady ke dekhche, tai ki? jodi setai hoi tahole ota arektu clearly fute uthle bhalo hoi IMO.

soumya, amio jani je ei duto chhobir tulona hoyna. but my point is not that.. my point is, ei chhobitay duto figure use kora hoyechhe .. diff height, different size, facing different ways.. that, plus the lines and the wide feel.. eitukui composition. it is not, and neither does it claim to be a portraiture.
er modhye kono ekta figure er mukhe kotota alo porlo sheta ki really important ?

ami kichhui depict korte chaini. Henri cartier Bresson-r onek chhobi-y kintu kichhui depict korena. it's just what you said - composition with use of lines, figures, shapes and silhouettes. uni kintu kono PJ ba story telling type-er photography koren ni. ami onar style-tai onek composition e try kori.
having said that, still you can hate it :)

love this musseum series and the wide angle view; perhaps I'd place your daughter just on the corner but in this case composition plus the woman on the foreground would be very static so in the end ths is not a bad approach

composition wise ground er line duto chhobir nicher border er sathe ekta perfect triangle form korle aaro bhalo lagto, but thats a personal choice (etar jonno tomake aaro left theke nite hoto kintu compo tao same thakto). aar meyetir mukh ta kalo lagchhe amar office monitor e. bari giye calibrated monitor e dekhbo :-)
