This is one big mountain of the stuff. I call it "stuff" because my grandson asked what that pile of white stuff was. When I told him it was salt, he refused to believe me because it wasn't in that cylindrical blue box. The plant that produces it has been in operation for almost a hundred years. Every day tens of thousands of people drive by it and seldom give it a second thought. Because of its location it is a real challenge to shoot. I'm thinking that the next time I go over there I'll take a polarizing filter with me. The actual camera settings were: 1/350 @ f/13. More to follow in the days to come.
