Ahhhh,, John, the reason for the apparent seperation, is that this was a color version changed to B/W. The background on this picture is a very dark red that I've used in some of my other stuff lately.
I totaly agree with you on all points, especially the pearls. She will be coming back in for some more work, and we will add them.
Very glamorous image Phillip! Nice control of the studio lighting. Has a nice 1950's feel to it. If that is what you were going for, there is only one thing I think is missing.
A pearl necklace and simple pearl earrings would polish the look even further. In any event, very nice work! Beautiful detail everywhere.
