About I love the often used phrase \"NEW COLOR\", THOUGH IT IS NOT NEW AT ALL!. Harry Callahan used it in the 1970\'s, Eggleston has used it since his career began and there are many others. This is my lucky shot while in Augusta, Ga. this week. A very violent storm moments before it actually struck. (fortunately, no one killed or seriously injuried-some property damage) I thought the dark blue sky and the extreme white wall gave this image truly \"new Color\" that so much has been written about.

Your portfolio is varied - some works for me some doesn't. I picked this to comment on because I was struck by the wall and the sky and how the wall moves down across the frame. To me it was a wise and very brave composition. I was surprised by the negative comments.

It is clearly on a sloping hill or rise - so why would you straighten the horizon?

The white benefits the sky - without it the image would lack punch. It would be a nice but static photo. The negative space provided with by the wall gives us movement and unease.

Why did you include the white wall? It is very distracting and absolutely unnecesary...the picture would have been much better without it

good shot. bold primary colours. I'm not sure about the composition aswell. I think I would crop out the sign and rotate a bit to get the building and wall horizontal.

I think, Your capture could be better! If there is not the wall, your capture will be better!

My rating for this is all over the board. The composition is horrible in my opinion, but, the idea is great, and the clouds are very spooky; I just wish it was composed better.
