I can see why this made it into a magazine. The composition is perfect, the lighting is perfect, the colors are perfect, and you added a creative effect to it.

Really nice image of one of the best skylines in the world. I really like the star effect. It amazes me how make people will think this is a PS effect and not a photography effect.

Thanks for the comments. The reason the Starbursts are in the photo is because I entered this photo in Shutterbug Magazine's Contest for "using filters", so I used a Cokin Star-8 filter when I took the photo. It is not a Photoshop effect. It did get published in the April 2002 issue.

I really like this type of shot. This composition, exposure, and focus are perfect (to me anyway). The only aspect I don't care for are the starburst effects. I know that is a subjective thing. If I were looking for a print to display for instance, I would prefer this shot without the effects. But it is a great night cityscape.
