Yes, with manual you can use one focus point with your lens instead of the multiples used with autofocus so you can get sharp focus on what you choose instead of letting the camera choose. Good luck !! Gary

I was using Auto focus, but I just learnt how to use the manual focus yesterday yeahhh :)

Nice work Gary, I have been trying so hard to take a picture like this, but had a little luck with blurry back ground and focused on subject. I think I have to work on my skills thou. Nice shot.
