As far as I'm concerned, this shot sets the standard for hummer photography. My Warrior submission was my first attempt at this genre, and I appreciate your technical suggestions. One question: the flash duration of my SB-22s speedlight is rated at 1/1100 sec @ full manual output. Is it fast enough for hummer work?

This one gets top honors from me, Ronnie. Everything worked for this one, man... tack sharp focus, splendid composition, a flash capture that captured the movement but did not blast out your subject, and magnificent color. I know you are proud of this one- you're smiling right now. Truly sublime.

Nice. I've read that the D100's vibration reduction function compensates well for camera shake and is rated top notch. This image bears that out. Hand held, I'm impressed. Detail is great. Love those hummers!
