Ah, yes. The great English summer. We were there last August and it rained almost the whole time.(sigh) We still had a great time though. Travelled from London to West Scotland and back again in a Motorhome. Good fun.:)

excellent b/w tones and contrast. I typically want to see the inclusion of a human figure somewhere in the distance in compositions like these, but I feel here your purpose was exactly not to do that. fair enough !

This image well deserve the award, I have been through many of your images and all of those do deserve been awarded.
Many people been forgotten on the site, now I went through all of the hard time with UF adminstration staff, they possibly felt, that not only the ones having the chats on UF chat channel whom deserve the awards but so many good photographers like yourself should had those award with periorty one.
You deserve and wishing you all of the best.

Fabulous image... hope the weather will get fabulous too eventually, but for now be glad it was as bad as this, for you wouldn't have gotten such a super shot!!!
