Great image-- all I have to shoot are palm trees, and they've got no bark... I do think this would work better w/o the border.

I like this so much better in color than the black and white. It shows the greens and grays so much better. It gives it a lot of seperation. Very nice. Don.

Good eye Christian. I think I'll agree with Vonbank about the framing though. I've seen a lot of this type of framing lately & it's ok, but I tend to look at the framing a lot & am distracted from the image. In this case however, the image is strong enough so I don't really notice the framing much.

A lovely and interesting image that deserves high marks, Christian. But I think this image stands alone without the PS border gimmicks. In my humble opinion, the border only detracts from the intricate natural patterns found within the central photograph. Presentation does count for something. Sometimes less is more, my friend. Peace.
