About Seeing I had my extension tubes out... was a little bored this evening and remembered seeing photos of macro shots of keyboards many times, so thought I'd try my own. Used the 55-250mm lens with a 12mm Kenko ext. tube... lens was at 194.0mm., shot hand-held and I kind of liked the outcome. The only light was from the monitor so the flash did pop up. Lens was about 15" from the front of the keyboard. Now it's time to get creative... any ideas?

Well, the keyboard may be 'ol and boring', but what you did with it, is anything but. Nice take all the same.

So, Brigitte, you have been reduced to taking pics of your comp keyboard now...this is seriously indicative of Usefilm addiction :P

HOWEVER, joking aside, this is a potent image, despite its simplicity (or rather, solely because of it). Narrow field, sharp, contrasty, bold and in your face. Love it to bits. Good job!

Warmest,

Anthony

it's a nice image, good dramatic use of the focal plane, and excellent tones. The keyboard may be boring the image is certainly not

There's a lot of 'power' in that combination sweetie and the result looks good. Creativity has no ceiling, go for it girl and enjoy the ride. Best results will come from inanimate subjects that will not be affected by movement (breezes etc). Well done to you Brigitte, experimentation can be great fun and I shall look forward to seeing your results. A big encouraging HUUUUUUUG and more best wishes.......Ray
