Ok, I stand corrected, because I made a mistake, as many folks have sent me e-mails regarding this matter. The Canon EOS-1D Mark II was $4499.00 on the street when it was 1st brought out, not $3995.99.
That's even better for me since I got 1 for $1699.99 Brand New in the Box with free upgrades from Canon... hehehe
Your very welcome litte Bro! Now I just have to get a couple of paying gigs, so I can afford to pay it off... lol
I heard they were going out of business, so I popped by to see if I could get my Son a 20D for his birthday, but they were out. Some big shot guy that used a bunch of kids to help him on his projects bought the last 5 bodies for about $450.00 each. Darn it!
Then I saw the price on the EOS-1D Mark II for a steal. Street price when it came out in 2004 was $3995.99 and it was marked down to $1699.99 brand new in the box with a full warranty and all the goodies. No brainer on my end, as they only had 3 left. So I just charged it on plastic.
Little did I know when I purchased it on 5/5/09 I would get layed off 10 days later. I have been without work for 8 weeks this Friday. Oh, well it's money well spent in my book. This is by far the coolest camera I have ever owned. hehehe
Hey thanks a million Bro! Wow you got a great deal on a great camera. And here I thought I had a great deal! lol Thanks for the awsome review of the photo and yes Ill send you a full version and the stats......Will be a pleasure and again thanks Buddy!
This is the best work I have ever seen from you young man, but you caught her 1 second too fast! I really want a copy of this in full size and all of the stat's?
I see you have went with Nikon, but I just got my first Pro-Body. I bought it brand new in the box from Wolf Camera Clearance Center, as they were closing that facility. They get all new unsold items from all of their locations. I got a heck of a deal on a Canon EOS-1D Mark II, then I sent it to the factory and they updated all of the firmware to a 2009 camera for free... ;)
