Yeah. I've been doing quite a lot of Wildlife lately after my purchase of a new lens. I didn't do that much until recently. But I find it very challenging. I bought the 300mm f4 afs and a 1.4 tc to go with it. Great for sports and wild life.

I'm not a big fan of wildlife images but I like this one, it's very classical, one you could see in a photography book.

Yeah, I find I can get pretty good shots of this kind of thing using the big lens. It focuses down to 5 feet away. If I can get from 5 to 20 feet of any kind of wildlife (about the same size as this butterfly) they images come out pretty good.
BTW
This wasn't a real butterfly, just a paper cutout. ;)

As I was saying to Nicole, they are quite large. So, they are not too difficult to get decent images of. Sometimes, if you are wearing suntan lotion or some kind of perfume or cologne, they will even land on you.

I'm glad you like it. They are very photogenic butterflies and they are quite large. So, they are not one of the most difficult to get decent images of. I was about 4 meters away from this one.
