About No really............... it's Dial hand soap bubbles captive in a 1 inch glass cube.
I used a modified 70/210 Canon lens to take this image.
It's an extreme close up. Depth of field must be about 1/16 of an inch and the image you are viewing is probably about 1/8 of an inch in height.

THank you Brigitte and everyone else for the nice comments. It was a fun endevor.
... with the camera secured on a hastily made plywood box made for this project, I stirred a few bubbles into my little cube of liquid soap.
... next with a small flashlight as a back light for viewing, I watched through the lens for bubbles to rise into view, but most importantly into focus. When they did, I pressed on my shutter release.
My flash unit was positioned under the glass cube to illuminate the underside of the bubbles. I only made a few decent shots with this setup, but it was fun, not knowing if the exposure would be good. Since this is such a weird image, I also did some mods to make it "pop" better.
I need to take a photo of the adapted lens so you can see how simple it is. The lens is simple, using it is a pita. ;)
