The problem at the zoo are also people... I remember the zoo staff in Kraków angry on me that I was taking shots very close to cages (how could I do it in another way? no way!). They were really not nice :P
But it seems zoos are becoming more friendly to animals... and to photographers as well.

I know Ania all the difficulties specially at the zoo,
I have visited it once at Ankara,
and guess how many shots I have taken ???
Non,believe me ,except for some ten shots to some trees,
this one is nice except for the animal was not looking at the water,and this because of the perspective too,
you allow me to do all those notes,I want the future for you,

Yes, I see that shot you imagine as well; you're right; you know, the only bad point of taking a shot from the side there was that from such angle the glass behind which the cat was, that glass was more visible. I took a few shots of him that time; one was uploaded to my portfolio earlier as well.
When the cat moved, I took more shots like this one attached.

a nice try and for a good subject,but telling you the truth,from the thumbnail I thought it was an alligator,and upon viewing the shot I saw that the colors of the Kot are so close to the stem on which it stood on ,and even have some similar textures,so I suggest to capture such a shot from the side ,it is just an opinion Ania,and I think as I imagine the shot ,the water surface,then the stem then the hunter whose whole head is directed to the water,
just imagine the shot with me,

Oh goody, I'm first. What a wonderful capture my dear Ania and how well this cat merges with the tree trunk. The details are excellent and the tones beautifully natural.
