If only the background was totally out of focus and softer.... This is so nice but that darn background is bugging me. Take a look at Nancy Rotenberg's new spring stuff on http://www.naturaltapestries.com . She is a friend and wonderful photographer. She is really into backgrounds and I can hear her in my head all the time reminding me that they are as important as the image. I'd rather have seen the flower go soft in some areas and the background totally out.

Wonderful. I like the composition and sharpness and DOF are very good, although the lowest flower is a little out of focus. The lowest flower could also be cropped a little more or a little less, it looks incomplete as it is. I don't know what the spots on the inside are but I like them.

Which settings do you use? I have the 602 and use 3Mp fine, soft sharpening.
