a splendid excecise is self discipline I used to do exactly the same thing in the old days.. you need to get nailed up before you can ger down sometimes

thanks Roger, that's good, all sorts of ideas out there eh? I have enjoyed playing with a fixed 50mm lens and got away from all this zoom zoom stuff, are zoom lens' for lazy people!! cheers, david.
