Thanks Stan - they always put the old woodstove far away fro the chimney to run lots of stove pipe and recover some of the heat off of them. Today the maximum length of the stove pipe here is 10 feet!

This is a great look back in time with the big flowing dresses and the head gear as well. I like the stove pipe running horizontal in the capture. Leads me right to the teacher. Thanks for sharing. Good tones and b/w image.

thank you Larysa - This photo was taken in a village that is set up to look like the 1860's. The people that work there are all dressed back in that time even the children. I've attached another photo showing the children at lunch time.
