Beatiful Ingrid. Love the reflections and the use of the spotlight filter in PS has really worked quite nicely!

To everyone-thanks for all your comments. The only change I made to this in PS was to use the spot light effect filter which I zeroed in on the boat. I too which something could be done about the image compression problem but I don't know what.

Ingrid,
I have not been viewing or commenting on landscape, flower, family pet pictures lately, because I am heavily involved with people photography. However, this image caught my eye right away!
This image has a painterly effect for me. I like semi-vignette effect with the lightest portion on the subject, as well as the composition. This is VERY nice.

Very nice. The circular artefacts in the sky seem to occur with image compression, and I am sure the original is better yet. Does anyone know how to get rid of those? I find it a little 'tight' on the top and bottom crop. I agree, the extra light on the boat is powerful.

This is very nice Ingrid - it seems to peaceful and tranquil. The spotlight on the main boat is an interesting effect - was that achieved in ps? I love the long shadow in the foreground - it "makes" the picture for me.
