The separation of the main subject from the scene is (once again) phenomenal, Avi! I must say, the plasticity of the face and the hand of the girl, captured in such a special moment, against the subtly softened up background... all that intorduces the poer of a single moment that will never be again the same. So, in a wide extend I must think of photographers of live playing bands. But it is not all those hollywoodian arranged and perfectly choreographed "big names" - I rather mean the excellent (but always unknown) street musicians that play for the joy.
And it is under these premises that I get the image in its wonderfully captured spontaneity. The timing was perfect to me, and vene more was the subtle exposure balance. Just give it a bit more shadows in order to enhence the light on the face of the protagonist, and still managing to avoid the flatness of the expression. The nicely preserved gradients reveal its plasticity and so it is a human, a very human expression.
The constrained DoF is just about perfect. We see the scene and still the protagonist is "king of the scene". Such a greate xample of how to turn those "everyday moments" to exactly what they are. Special!
