Pushkar Camel Fair, one of the biggest livestock fairs in India, features thousands of camels, horses and cows among other domestic animals. Buyers and sellers from all over northwest India come to negotiate over their prized animal. This was taken on the very last day of the fair. Most of the traders had sold off or relocated by then. A few, like the ones here, were still patient...hoping for some customer to turn up at the last moment. They would iterate how important it is for them to strike a good deal in this fair....that's what would sustain them for the rest of the year..
