Hi Saad,
Yes, sand cat lives only in the desert; it can be found on Sahara and Arabic Peninsula. I'm interested in this species very much because it's so gentle but also so well specialised in living in such hard conditions.
It can live without drinking water at all. The fluids from animals it hunts for are enough for it to survive; its body is so well constructed that it keeps as much water inside as possible. It hunts for all small animals, including snakes; and of course mostly during nighttime. Days are mostly spent in a place digged by itself in sand :)
It's so highly specialised that in zoos it has to have special conditions - as you see its enclosure looks a bit like taken from the desert. It's important to keep it very dry because normal Polish humidity would cause the cat an illness of respiratory system very fast.

Yeah, the kitty has to life in a special enclosure which imitates the environment of the desert. It has to be very dry, much drier than normally in Poland. Otherwise, he would catch easily any illness of respiratory system.

It's a sand cat, comes from Sahara and Arabic Peninsula. Yup, looks like a domestic cat but has enormous ears (they are more visible on another shots that I uploaded earlier) and fur in sand color :)
