Mark, I loved my Kiron 70-210 with Zoomlock. Zoomlock was a fantastic feature. It cost more to do the repairs after the slight dunking in the stream than what the lens was worth, so I took it apart and removed a lens element cluster from it and I have used it as a loupe for the past 25+ years.... so it lives on. Good things happen. It made a loupe better than anything I would have ever purchased.

I use a scanner to convert to digital. My Kiron suffered the curse shortly after this, finaly got the nerve to break it down and clean it. Still need to try it out.

My kind of place. I wish there was something like that near me. Great image, Mark. How do you get from film to a digital image?
I have a Hanging Rock 90 miles away, but no water, nothing comparable to this. Nice to see another diehard film user. ;) Wow, and a Kiron lens too. I had a 70-210 Kiron macro with zoom-lock many years ago. Great lens till it rolled 'slightly' into the river. It died a slow painful death in the weeks afterwards.
