I look at this and I can feel the smooth rocks under my bare feet, the cold water on my legs and that chill in the air. I can see myself walking out into this misty morning, into the unknown. Lovely mood and composition. Also, I read your post about "what is a picture", and am myself a big fan of Galen Rowell.

Very cool shot. I like the composition, nice DOF. The sky looks a little strange, but I think its probably some info lost in file compression. Nice capture of the misty morning feel, too. Welcome, looking forward to seeing more pictures!
