A solitary singer of sunlight surrounded by it's enraptured peers. :)

Another stunner John, however if I had to choose between the two in this series I would opt for the first one. I've been switching between both of them to try and put my finger on why, and I think the main thing is the bloom directly behind the central sharp flower in this one keeps drawing my eye away. I also miss the splash of red. Please don't get me wrong, I love both great images, and very impressive! ~ Beverly :-)

Diana, That is why I put up images for honest feedback! Thank you!

A Vonbank - I consider your feedback a blessing. Thank you for your inspiration and time.

David - Thank you for the excellent feedback! Much appreciated! I'm off to see your daisy shot!

Hi John,
I like this better than the previous - 2 reasons - the daisy sits higher and no red flare. So I think the composition is better - but both are great images.
If you are interested I have an image http://www.usefilm.com/showphoto.php?id=148513
Which is a "Daisy" that was captured on a walking trip in South West Tasmania - World Heritage area. Similar use of DOF, you might enjoy the image.
Regards

I like how the shallow depth of field creates some wonderful floating floral saucers that accentuate the form of your main daisy subject, John. Playful and accomplished. Viewing inspired images like yours, and seeing your developing photographic sensibilities, is what makes Usefilm so enjoyable.

Hi John,
Lovely image of the daisy. To behonest, I liked the oter shot of your daisies (the one with the red color in the background) a lot more. It added much more "creativity" to the picture and made it a special capture... one I would like to see again and still enjoy it. I hope you understand what I mean, my english is not that good I'm affraid.
