Another beautiful mantis, David! Larger insects like this mantis, I must say, are more difficult to get into focus! I mean, when you've got the head pin-sharp, usually the legs, or the wing tips aren't! And with low light conditions the aperture has to be open up wide! This mantis looks like a different species from mine. A younger portrait of this guy is also posted under the title "Danger in the Flowers".
