About	It was no less than Diwali in India as India lifted the Cricket World Cup after beating Sri Lanka by six wickets at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai last night. Indian came out on roads, shouting in joy, bursting fire crackers and hugging each other soon after skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit a six to repeat history after a gap of 28 years. Proud fans in their hundreds, including women and children of all ages. People gathered outsides their homes and walked carrying the tricolour as emotions ran high. Youngsters hit the streets in cars and on motorcycles shouting "India, India".
