Your words describe him exactly. He was a very peaceful dog. I was heart broken to loose him. His body was tired and worn out so it was his time. If there is a doggie heaven I am sure he is there.

I meant also to add that I'm sure his life was a very happy one while he was with you. I too have opened my heart to unwanted animals only to have them pass on months later. Take comfort in knowing you made his last months happy and he knew he was loved.
