About The wife likes this one the best of my photographs. I don?t have a best at least one that other people like a lot. I have posted this one before on Photosig but it was a different version. I did this one last night and it took me awhile to edit it because of the smoke in the air from a forest fire. My wife liked this one better than the other version so I will post this one.

Beautiful landscape...some areas of the tree on the right is a bit distracting, looks like a green glow between the branches(in the sky area)...Bill

This is one of the best landscapes I ever seen. The stronger part on landscapes for my taste is always the sunlight and the cloud shadows that gives great colour scales and differences at the ground and here the result is very impressive!

I can see why your wife likes this one. The sunlight is excellent as it plays on the mountain. Good work! (This new comment policy is going to have the effect of limiting the number of new posters that I react to. I'm going to have to limit my comments to my old friends. You are at the top of the list.)

A stunning view. The natural framing of the trees, the majestic starkness of the mountain...Beautiful! I can see why this is your wifes favorite. It completely carries you away, and makes one realize how small we are in comparison. Bravo!!

Nice capture. I like the perspective of looking out through the two trees.

Such a lovely scene, and excellently captured.

It does look a bit muddy, is that from the smoke you mention or something in your camera?

Might have been better had you given a bit more space at the top, making the framing on the tree in the left side less critical.

Bob this is excellent for color, sharpness and especially composition. The trees on each side hold things together. Very nice. You talked about going to Tucson for I expect winters. We spent 10 winters in a RV park near Tucson. We were at Justins which is about 10 miles west of Tucson on Ajo and a little north. We finally bought a home in Sun City West about the first of 1999. Have since sold our 5th wheel trailer. If you want to email me at any time you can do so at dloseke7@yahoo.com. I would like to be able to use the gradient tool on PS but have had no success as yet. Do you know anything about it? Don.
