Yes, I read about that ship after you mentioned it. It's a big container ship (the biggest) but there are bulk carriers much bigger.
The one (bulk carrier) photographed here is the average size coming to Newcastle (the world's largest coal exporting port)

That is a big ship approaching :-) Wondering what the dream will be .
I remember the huge containership that was unloaded in Rotterdam harbor was 400 meters long, ~60 meters wide and contained 18.000 containers.
