Extraordinary portrait, it makes me wonder what is behind this face, what is the story of this man, the wrinkles tell a lot about his life... Looks like a young soul though, there is something kinky in his look and his smile. For some reason I'd say he looks like a sailor. I can't tell if you used photoshop to add more dramatic sharpness and details or it's the lens, but I forget about technical details if I look at the subject. B&w is definitely the best choice. Great photo, best regards.
