Paul, you've rumbled me. These lines are the branches at the top of a high hedge that was in my line of site. Ofcourse, they are very out of focus but I left them in. The photo was basicly a quick shot taken from a site that I work at and would never consider it as something to print for anyone. Having said that, I had it piblished in a Local newspaper and had a few requests fot copies, so I printed it about 5" accross within A4 paper to the delight of the recievers. I totally intend to take again with tripod etc, so we'll see.

What's causing the shadowy lines/marks between the rows of trees? Sun rays?
