Thought of "The Flash" comic book character when I saw this image. The shape also reminds me of a bullet train. Nice capture.

I'm no expert on noise but I believe it is a product of less than optimal exposure. When I take night pictures I aim for pictures that look like night pictures, which means lots of black with patches of light. Photographs of reality and not perceived reality. With this in mind, exposure is easy. For this picture I used an ISO of 100 with the camera in AP mode. I started out with an EV compensation of -2 and after a couple of test shots, ended up with an EV of -5. The key to accuracy was the clock face. I needed it to be the highlight of the picture and still retain the intricate black metal lines (not sure you can see them on IO). When I had that right, I waited for things to happen around me. Exposure was f16 at 1 second Thanks for showing an interest Riny. Regards
