These techniques :)
Please perhapsTilt the camera while shooting ( or not ) and you have a straight sky if needed

Note To Self:
New photographic term: Swing (used to describe the phenomenon created by two conceptual lines, one being the horizon and a tree) :)))
Nice one Jan :)

You are right, Wayne, there is something not right about the horizon. I struggled with it when I framed the image. I think it is the lay of the land and my perspective. If I had more time I would have tried a different viewpoint.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the technique you mentioned.

Great composition.
The diagonal line of the sky has to stay, Mr Winsauer ! It a n important line because of the tree and to give the picture a swing. Straight wood be stiff and nonsense.
Its already ready :)
Great work

Cheers Paul! I really like this image with the large floral foreground element and the solitary tree! I do think the diagonal line in the clouds is distracting though as it makes your horizon line look off. An easy fix will be to cut out the entire top part of the sky and rotate it the use content aware fill in Photoshop. After that some minor touch ups will make the adjustment seamless. If you are a straight out of camera purist, no worries, it's a great image. I just thought I'd offer up my opinion. Regards, Wayne

Wild flowers are beautiful to look at, a cheerful play of colors!
Best wishes Paul.
