The purple your seeing is from a blue gel'd light camera left for the b/g. Of course the saturation on this picture has been pumped up (alot) in PS, which has really drenched the colours.
With regard to the chain, your right. Prob.look better without touching. When cropping the pic, I took more of vertical crop than usual.
I like the vibrant colours used in this one, but there seems to be some purple spill on his eye... looks almost like eyeshadow. And I might have liked just a fraction more room on frame left, so that the wrist-chain wasn't touching. Otherwise, I think that you've done a great job!
Jake, Jake, Come on down off the ceiling. Both of us had fun last night shooting these shots. You really have no idea or clue what I'm about when shooting in the studio.
Sorry to "offend" you bud, but you really ought to ease up a bit. Life's too short to get wacked over a blurb typed into an about section of this shot. That's really too much :)
As a matter of fact, his dad was even there and we all had fun. I popped in a CD, cranked up the volumne, pumped up the fog, and we were off and running.
Was that a joke or were you serious, jake? I can't think of a more hyped up overeacted response so I'm not sure if you were being sarcastic or not, lol.
Heh, probably your average skateboarded, yeah, but what do we average people know of this odd strain, anyway the lighting seems just right for the event, pose, crop, etc - good work
