This rose expresses the beauty of a mid-age women with the shy wrinckles starting to make their way through the soft peach skin, while the complementary green stem and its firm beaming petiolas represents the stable maturity for upcoming accomplishments.
_ Can't we smell the perfume of wisdom appearing already to our senses?

I love the use of the square picture size. Great! I am not sure if you have control over DOF with the camera you have, but if you do, you might have benefited a bit from a higher F-stop to get the middle leaves of the rose in just a bit more focus. I love background of this also. Good job!!
