Well...well...well..I just happened upon this photo and will jump in with both fingers..typewriter..hehe..
Read the comments..uh...
Anyway what made me want to comment on this photo even before seeing the comments..which are entirely a different subject so to speak..Back to why I wanted to comment on this photo..As a learning experience I had taken a picture of two baby goats one time and one was white and one was black. The white one was really nice..the black one..his eyes didn't shine. I'm think someone made a comment about using fill flash for the eyes? Anyway..posting this picture could help those looking for a way to do this kind of photography???????
I loved my little goats...but darn..the black and white..what do you call that..using lighting...uh..I can't remember what it was..How to get the two totally different colors to be exposed right. Oh yeah,,that's what it was exposure and metereing.
By the way I have been following both of you guys photography..Steve's for quite some time..and William's just recently and think you both do fantastic jobs!

Thank you for the clarification. There is contact info on my website, but maybe I need to make it more noticable.

Steve, I want to make a public apology. When I first went to your website, I clicked around and went to someplace from your site called photo s/g or something and found some weird stuff. I went back to your site three times and still found it. It is not there now. I do not know who linked to your website. I should have alerted you directly but there was no contact info on your site. Your are a very talented photographer and I have no intention of diminishing that. Pleqase accept my apology. I'm sure you would have attempted to alert me if the same thing happened to you. Bill

William..

I'm not "connected" with any site. I'm not interested in promoting anything.

I think there's a compliment in your remark, but I have a hard time seeing it.

Steve. I went to your website. You're connected to some site with a lot of nudes and stuff. Photo s/g. You can do better than this. If you want to promote your work, go to my professional site. www.theultimateportrait.com You can have a free listing and upload a photo for free. Or buy a webpage for $50 a year. You have talent. Promote it.

Point well taken, Steve. I learn from every photograph and every personality I ever see on film.I can't recall any other place than here that I've felt free to express some of the things I've learned through thousands of mistakes. But you're right, this is not adhering to the business model.

William,

I have to ask and please don't take offense.

Usefilm is a learning site that offers projects to photographers so that by challenging oneself by doing the projects, a photographer can improve the photography skills.

How is posting images taken 25 years ago and then assigning them to a project category, "doing" a project?

You're obviously a talented and skilled photographer as evident from your posting.
