lovely image !
P.S. well...I am not the perfect man to help you, because my knowledge of digital cameras only passes by mine...and in mine I can increase the degree of contrast and saturation in the settings...so all my photos have already that setting from camera...
another thing the RAW format...it is a format that saves the photo without compression of pixels...(so the files generated are much bigger), the JPG format does compression...so what happens is that a file that should weight 9 megabites in RAW, weights only 2 megabites in JPGE format...)...so specialitys say that we loose some part of information using JPGE instead of RAW or TIFF (other format use by digital cameras for images without compression) ...
about your camera you should try to find somebody that uses the same equipment and see if they can help...could be that your Tamron lens don`t work in perfection with strong light in that digital body???...I do not know...but I think that on this site if you post something in the forum part maybe you will receive some feedback...if not tell me again...
regards and I hope that this little information will help something...regards.

Hello Marty,
Glad to see your new addition here. This is such a great view. I think you stood on a high place when you took this photo, I like the composition a lot with the "big space" above the horses. Don't worry about PS, I think the colors look wonderful. When I look at this photo my first attention goes to the red blanket under the sadle of the middle horse; it matches very well with the brown-red colors of the horses and... I can see these colors are comong back in the grass at the backgound. Very well done. Thanks for your nice comments on my self-portrait. Yes, I have blue eyes and.... my favorite color is blue.
