About These tiny (about 5mm) Katydid nymphs are just showing up this year. I wouldn't think bright red would be very effective camaflauge and I'm pretty sure that they're not poisionous so I guess these are false warning colors. What I think are the adults are fairly colorful too. I have a much more detailed picture that I'll post tomorrow. I just liked the curve of the antenna on this one. Natural light.
